BluPrint Vol. 3 explores interiors as storytellers of memory and lived experience, looking at how the spaces people inhabit express identity, culture, and a sense of belonging.
At the heart of the issue is the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), a National Cultural Treasure that marks its 50th anniversary as one of the country’s defining works of modern architecture. The feature revisits its interiors and how they continue to express Filipino identity through the architecture of National Artist Leandro V. Locsin, while restoration and renewal prepare the landmark for its next chapter.
The issue moves from this national landmark to the spaces of everyday life. Shared Spaces looks at hospitality through destinations including South Palms MGallery Panglao, Rico’s Café, &Matcha, Three Yards, Liyab, and the First Meridian Lounge, exploring how memory, landscape, culture, and locality influence the experience of a place.
Design Profiles turns to the home, featuring residential work by Nazareno Architecture + Design, Alfred Wieneke and Mark Wilson, 8X8 Design Studio, PXP Design Workshop, and BRIOARC with Studio Jang. Together, these stories consider interiors not simply as designed environments, but as places shaped by the people who inhabit, experience, and remember them.
